COURSE OVEER VIEW

R is a well-developed, simple and effective programming language, which includes conditionals, loops; user defined recursive functions and input and output facilities. R has an effective data handling and storage facility, R provides a suite of operators for calculations on arrays, lists, vectors and matrices.

Prerequisite:

• You must know of the basics of any programming language. Although, you can start learning R programming even if you do not have any prior experience in programming.
• You should have a deep knowledge of statistics and mathematics.
• You must have a good understanding of graphs and plots that are used for data visualization.
• You should have good analytical skills that will help you understand the patterns in the data.
